Orbes - Round Two-Tier Wooden Bedside Table

The name comes from the Latin orbes, discs: two circles of wood suspended on three slender legs, with not a single detail more. Orbes was born from a simple idea — a bedside table you place next to your bed that almost seems not to be there, leaving all the space to the light and the floor.

Two 45 cm diameter tiers offer more surface than you'd expect: the upper shelf for the lamp, the evening's book, your phone; the lower one for the volumes you're reading or a wicker basket. The three powder-coated iron legs, available in white or black, define the character of the piece: light and Nordic in white, graphic and decisive in black.

The material makes the difference. The shelves are made from Egger panel — the Austrian benchmark manufacturer for the quality furniture industry — in a Natural Casella Oak finish, 1.9 cm thick. The laminated surface resists scratches, stains and humidity far better than painted wood, won't warp over time, and meets E1 emission class, the safest standard for domestic environments. The wood comes from certified European forestry.

Every Orbes is cut, edge-banded and assembled in our workshop in Vigonza, in the Veneto furniture district.
